A black and white print with dense vertical lines filling most of the frame, surrounded by a narrow border of aged paper. The phrase 'Et sic in infinitum' is written in cursive along the edges.

The image is a print or drawing on a slightly aged, off-white paper. The majority of the image is filled with a dense, almost entirely black field created by closely spaced, vertical lines. These lines are not perfectly uniform, giving the black area a slightly textured, almost woven appearance. Around the edges of the black field, the paper is visible, creating a narrow border. Along the bottom and top edges, and vertically along the sides, there is text written in a cursive script. The text appears to be the same phrase repeated: 'Et sic in infinitum.' (And so into infinity). The text is faded and appears to be part of the print itself, rather than a separate inscription. The overall impression is one of depth and infinity, created by the dense lines and the repeating phrase. The aged paper adds a sense of history and timelessness to the image.
